// agent hosting

Run agents as
infrastructure.

Managed execution for long-lived agents — schedulers, checkpoints, rollbacks and auto-scale built in. You bring the agent; we keep the loop alive, the state intact and the cost predictable.

▸ cron + webhooks
▸ checkpoints
▸ zero-downtime rollback
▸ auto-scale
// what you get

The ops layer your agents were missing.

Running an agent in a notebook is different from running it as a service. This is the gap: schedulers, state management, version control and auto-scale for agent workloads specifically.

◇

Cron + webhook triggers

Schedule agents on a cron expression or fire them on an incoming HTTP event. The same agent handles both with no code changes.

◉

Durable checkpoints

State is checkpointed between steps. If a run fails mid-way, it resumes from the last clean checkpoint — no work lost, no duplicate side effects.

◈

Zero-downtime rollbacks

Version-pin any agent deployment. Roll back to a previous version in one click. Traffic drains cleanly with no in-flight requests dropped.

◆

Auto-scale

Scale out by concurrent invocations or queue depth. Scale in to zero when idle. You set the bounds; hosting manages the fleet.

◇

Per-agent resource quotas

Token budgets, CPU time limits and cost caps applied per agent. One runaway agent can't drain the account.

◉

FIFO queue with retry

All triggered runs enter a durable queue with configurable retry policy. No fire-and-forget HTTP calls that silently disappear.

◈

Traffic splits

Route a percentage of invocations to a new agent version before full rollout. Canary deploys without the infrastructure boilerplate.

◆

Audit log

Every trigger, execution, checkpoint and rollback is logged with timestamps and version attribution. Ready for incident review.

◇

Hive + API deployment

Deploy from Hive's console or from the REST API. Integrate agent deployment into your CI/CD pipeline without custom scripts.

// use cases

Workloads we're targeting

  • ▸Always-on support or monitoring agents that must never miss an event
  • ▸Batch jobs that sweep data sources, databases or APIs on a schedule
  • ▸Webhook listeners that fan out to many parallel agent invocations
  • ▸Long-running research workflows that span minutes or hours per run
  • ▸Gradual rollouts of updated agent versions behind traffic splits
  • ▸Compliance-sensitive workloads needing checkpoint audit trails
// the difference

Hosting vs. Agents

The Agents runtime gives you the building blocks — memory, tools, traces. Agent Hosting is the ops layer on top of it: how agents are triggered, how their state survives failures, how versions roll out and roll back, and how they scale under load.

▸
Agents runtime
Memory, typed tools, structured output, tracing, evals. The agent logic layer.
▸
Agent Hosting
Schedulers, checkpoints, versioning, auto-scale, queues. The agent ops layer.
▸
Use together
Build your agent with the runtime, then deploy it as a managed hosted service.

Where we're going

  1. in beta now

    Scheduler + queue

    Cron and webhook triggers with a durable FIFO queue and configurable retry policy.

  2. next

    Canary + rollback

    Traffic splits between agent versions, one-click rollback on error-rate spikes.

  3. planned

    Multi-region failover

    Active-active agents across regions with state replication and automatic failover.

Agent Hosting beta is invite-only.
